Color in My Project

    Colors in a film are essential to evoke a certain mood or atmosphere. For instance, a trustworthy character may wear blue clothing instead of a mysterious fully black outfit. The color that will appear the most in our film is red. Boxerman's cape and boxing gloves will be red showing his intensity, power, and passion of the superhero. This will also evoke how dangerous his powers are. The use of this bold color also stands out allowing it to be the main focus on the screen. His sidekick, Kung Fu Kid, also wears blue showcasing his loyalty and trust-worthyness. 

    The color green in the establishing shot will showcase the nature of the scene. The orange tint will show the hot setting and the warmth of the Sun will be felt. This warm tint will also show the intensity. The black we plan to use for the villains, Brutus and his henchman, show their malice and mysteriousness. This black color will be supported by low key lighting and many shadows. This bold black color is empowering and the audience will acknowledge their presence.
