Specific Camera Shots/Angles

  

Hello blog! In our film, we used a variety of camera shots, camera movements, and camera angles to portray specific intended feelings towards the audience. We used these different camera shots, angles, and movements to evoke certain atmospheres and moods to the audience. Each different camera technique was planned out and not random. We had to discuss each different camera technique used as a group. However, before we did this we had to discuss what feeling or effect we were trying to evoke through the use of the scene. 

One example of a camera shot we used frequently was the medium shot. Our main goal was to show an ominous power figure -- Brutus. We did this by only showing his torso and upwards. We also kept the camera relatively far from Ajani so no facial features could be distinguished. This was done in order to keep the ominous effect and further evoke mystery and power.
