Editing Part 2

  Hello blog! Today I will be discussing the rest of the editing process for our film and how everything fit together. Zane and I did the editing for the project, Zane was in charge of putting edits into the software, while I was also helping with ideas and made sure that everything was good. He couldn't share it over the cloud so we could both work on it together as Zane has had issues with CapCut cloud before so he did not want to risk losing all of our progress. 

    We made sure to include colored subtitles for all the dialogue and important sounds in the film, the colors indicating the character who is speaking or is associated with a certain sound. While subtitles are kind of minimal, they add a very nice touch to the film and make it much more professional/higher quality. Zane did the subtitles manually because AI subtitles are prone to errors. We also added in the Brutus scene that Ajani recorded for us, which fits in really well at the end and adds a lot of impact in the film. We used various glitch effects in the Brutus part of the film, to add more impact into the scene because we wanted to leave the viewer with a suspenseful mood. These glitch effects created an intimidating atmosphere to this scene as it makes Brutus seem more powerful and intimidating. With the conclusion of the editing, we are basically done with our entire project
