Final Project Mood Board

 

Hello blog! This is my mood board for my group's movie introduction called "Boxerman". My mood board consists of the main aspects of the film. My general aim is to convey an ominous atmosphere while incorporating comedy elements. We will use low key lighting with emphasis on the character in the majority of scenes, however, we will incorporate some scenes with high key lighting to keep the comedic feel. The picture of the alleyway would be the main setting of the film with an attempt to add suspense. 

The pictures of the boxing gloves refer to the protagonist, Boxerman, who will wear boxing gloves as his costume. The pictures of money and nerf guns refer to the suspenseful plot where money and the nerf gun would be constantly referenced throughout the film. The picture of Batman is used as a comparison to our version of the city's best hero, Boxerman. Some elements we use would take inspiration from the Batman movies, such as specific camera shots, camera angles, and lighting. The picture of Brutus, the main antagonist, is the crime boss of the city who Boxerman will fight to defeat.
