Mood Board

 

The pictures I have assembled into this mood board from “Avengers: Endgame” portray the overall atmosphere of the story. This mood board shows the dramatic feel of the movie. It conveys a heartfelt and intense mood as it displays the events in battle. This adds to the overall suspense and drama throughout the movie. The dull unsaturated colors used throughout the movie showcase the gloomy feel, whereas the camera angles put emphasis on the characters. This emphasis on the characters build upon the suspense of the story. The director made these specific choices on purpose to evoke these feelings unto the audience.

I specifically chose battlefield images to showcase the intense battles which was the main purpose of the movie. Each picture uses similar lighting putting emphasis on the background as well as the characters in frame. The mise en scene was carefully thought out and planned accordingly by the directors in order to achieve this dramatic feel. The atmosphere is unique and evokes a feeling of sentiment to the audience. The specific special effects and costume choices also evoke a gloomy mood by showing wear and damage to the character's costumes.
